FAQs

Here are a few signs that indicate it may be time to replace your roof:

Leaks – Does your roof leak every time it rains in the same area of your roof?
Missing shingles – Wind can tear away old, brittle shingles more easily than new shingles.
Curling shingles – Shingles that curl up is a sure sign of premature aging. It is also a sign that there may be a problem with your roof ventilation and insulation. See blog on ventilation.
Roof damage – falling tree limbs can certainly damage shingles along with the roof structure. This should be inspected ASAP as it could turn into a very dangerous situation

For all projects, weather is a huge factor. Rain, wind and snow can effect the duration of the project.
For roofing - generally speaking a roof replacement takes one to two days. If you have a large roof it could take 3 or more days. Know that we get comments all the time on how fast and efficient we are in installing a roof without compromising quality.
For siding – in general siding takes a longer time to install. The size of the siding project is the biggest factor. Generally a siding project takes 2 to 6 days.
For Windows – keep in mind most people replace windows when they do their siding project. Window installation can take 1 to 4 days in general depending on the size and number of windows.
For decks – this is a hard one to predict the length of time. So much depends on the size, structure, material selection, railings and number of stairs.
